About the Artist

Christopher Mark Schoofs, born February 22, 1972 is an artist who has a keen interest in light and its power not only to convey form but also feeling. His art reveals the emotional drama and shifting  interactions  of  the light upon the  subject.  The creative  approaches  used  reflect  an interest in both realism and impressionism.  His artistic ability was evident at a very early age and no one discouraged  his  innate  left  handedness.  This allowed him to accurately  render many things both seen and imagined..
